Role Overview:

We are seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer specializing in Azure FinOps and CloudOps who has hands-on experience delivering measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing large-scale Azure environments, driving cost optimization, improving security postures, automating operations, and establishing Cloud Centers of Excellence (CCoE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Center of Excellence: Must have set up and managed a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), establishing best practices for governance, compliance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
  
• FinOps and SecOps Ownership: Proven experience in delivering FinOps and SecOps goals with measurable outcomes such as reducing cloud costs by 30% or more and enhancing security postures for multiple customers with annual cloud spend over $1 million.
  
• Azure Landing Zones: Hands-on experience in architecting, deploying, and optimizing Azure landing zones for large enterprises, including automation using Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
  
• Operational Excellence: Demonstrated success in improving operational KPIs such as reducing incident volumes, enhancing system availability, and streamlining incident management processes.
  
• Cost Optimization: Experience in identifying cost inefficiencies and implementing strategies to achieve significant cost savings across various Azure environments.
  
• Security Posture Management: Hands-on experience owning and delivering security improvements, reducing security vulnerabilities, and enhancing compliance in cloud environments.
  
• Automation Leadership: Led automation initiatives to eliminate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance system reliability.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Worked closely with product and customer success teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives, driving continuous improvements.
